Farewell, MARKY CIELO

Morning of December 7, the starstruck ultimate survivor just lost his life...

The whole country was shocked with the tragic news that one of its young and promising actors has died.

According to the news, his mom tried to wake him up at around six am. But when the actor failed to respond, the door was forced to open... There, Marky Cielo, 20, was found lifeless inside and was declared dead when he was brought to the nearby Antipolo hospital. A rumor conclusion about the cause of death is acute hemorrhagic pancreatitis, locally known as bangungot.

This ended the life of the most promising talent in Philippines show business whom well-love one as well by the Filipino people.

During his three-year career, he was able to star in several television shows and in one film, notably Fantastikids (2006), Boys Nxt Door (2007), Zaido: Pulis Pangkalawakan (2007-2008), Sine Novela: Kaputol ng Isang Awit (2008), and his final performance, LaLola (2008). He was also able to voice the character Ichigo Kurosaki in the anime Bleach (2007).

Waiting in vain

Have you ever felt being alone once? Well I have.

I have someone I love right now. We are more than four months and will be five soon. But this somebody is gone right now. I am waiting in vain for that person. I just don't know how to feel. Waiting for somebody you don't know when that person will come back is like waiting for the sun to rise in a planet that has only nights. I cannot take this any longer. That person has been long gone for more than two weeks now and without communicating me. I know that being in a rural area and no network signal is a valid excuse but still that person should have exert an effort.

I love this person and i just don't know what am i going to do now.

Bagobo Dance

Davao City is one of the best city in the whole Philippines and have been acclaimed as "The Most Livable City in Asia". Several tribes have settled on this land and the utmost region of Davao way back from our ancestors era. One of those tribes is the Bagobo. They are the first who have settled here in Davao and made a submerse community. Bagobo tribe owns a unique cultural identities that are now distinguished from all over Davao. One of these is the Bagobo Dance.

Bagobo Dance or "The Rice Cycle Dance" is an ethnic dance and originated solely from the Bagobo tribe. This dance shows how Bagobos plant and process rice and cycle of it.

The number of Dancers for Bagobo dance actually varies. But usually it is eight girls and six boys. Bamboos, Bilaos and rainmaker are some of the props used for this dance.

Other names for Bagobo Dance is "Sugod Uno" and "Miyamas neng Ommoy". Ommoy is a Bagobo dialect term for the rice grains without husks on it. The main instrument used is a tibal drum made up of animal skins. For the costumes, the boys wear knee-level pants used for farming in the field, head band that has many colors, body band and necklaces made of beads. For the girls, they wear malong, a feather head dress and necklaces made of beads also.

Here is an example of the Dance. Performed by the Ramon Obusan Folkloric Group in 2001 as part of "Durian: Isang Alamat Bagobo".

These cultural identity will make Dabawenyos a proud tribe.

Panwich lang?

Yesterday, me and my sister (GeLLan) went to the NCCC mall to buy a shirt. We tried bench, penshoppe, oxygen, molecules, guess, bny but nothings going to fit for the occasion i will attend to. However, when we passed the cheap shirts, i cannot believe that theres a shirt that is perfect and it is only for Php 150.00. The shirt is black and it has a weird punk print and it is what I am looking for, just appropriate. It is more of like in the picture.

So, eventually, I bought it. Then, we decided to have a stroll at the arcade area and play games. When we arrived there, we saw her ugly pathetic dumb ex-boyfriend. What a small city!!! Of course we ignored him. Who is he by the way??!! After such a scary view, we went to the foodcourt and ordered Panwiches. Panwich lang?. Why do other people (the rich ones) get smirked when they saw people eating the cheap Panwiches?! What's with Panwich?! Its tasty and enticing and its cheap unlike those Space burgers and other expensive buns. There's this rich girls who are seated next to our table and they kept on looking on what we are eating!! duh!! What do we care if they got disgusted with cheap burgers or buns!! Rich people is a headache. Filthy ones!

A senseless post

God!! For about three days, my eyes are drooping. I am so tired and exhausted. I have been staring at my computer for three days now and nothing is happening. I wanna drop out of school. Ang hirap talaga maging student. Tapos wala pa akong inspiration. Kagilok! Haha. My teacher in Software Engineering I really pissed me off. He always corrected my documentation five times. Is that normal? No it isn't. Ang sakit na yung eyes kuh!! Sana may mag comfort jan? (ooooh?? Sinu naman). How i wish this semester will end soon!!!

My Moto

Yes I have my new phone already (because my old phone was snatched. Huhu). It is a Motorola W156. As you can see in the pictures, it has black satin color (oooh?). Its front face is smooth and flat but its back do have rough patterned surface. It is not colored but its features is still Motorolic*. Even though it is not that glamorous, I’m still happy with it at least I have ways of communication for my family and friends. Damn those who criticize my phone! Haha!





* Motorolic – It is my new word. It means it has the quality and mark of Motorola phone.

PPP approved my blog!

Gosh, for how many months (Actually, for four months only.), my blog (odds and ends of marco) has been approved in PayPerPost (PPP). Yes, that long. Whew! The first time I submitted my blog, they rejected it 'cause they need blogs which is more than three months old and my blog by then was only a week old. Then, after a few months (just recently), I resubmitted my blog. I thought they will going to reject it again but i was wrong. However, when I received the email yesterday from PPP, I was quite shocked and suprised. But still I am thankful for PPP because they approved my blog.
