When I was still young, I am fond of playing online role-playing games like Ragnarok. The character that I always choose is the Mage (Magician, Wizard, Sorcerer) character or someone that uses magic. Why? Since then, I always like MAGIC! So role-playing a mage, would somewhat make me powerful in magic. Anyways, here are some of the list of mage characters in massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG):
1. Mage and Wizard in Ragnarok
In Ragnarok, Mage or Magicians who acquire enough experience in magic are given the choice of becoming a Wizard which are powerful spell-casters and have access to a wide array of area of effect spells
2. Magician in Flyff
Magician is a job class that involves dealing magical damage from a distance by casting spells. You will learn spells as skills, and be able to use them to deal massive damage to monsters. You will also have lower defense, lower HP, and a delay time in casting spells, but you will ultimately be casting massively damaging spells if you do it right. As a Magician you'll be using staffs and wands to cast magic spells. You may also wear light armor. A useful stat for a Magician is Int. (Intelligence), which will increase your magic attack power, and maximum MP.3. Mage in World of Warcraft
Students gifted with a keen intellect and unwavering discipline may walk the path of the mage. The arcane magic available to magi is both great and dangerous, and thus is revealed only to the most devoted practitioners.4. Mage in GodsWar Online
The Mage is just like a Champion only the mage focusses on Magical attack, also the attacks aren't just as high as a Champion but his huge amount of skills is a good point of advantage wich champions don't have. they also focus on far distance fights not on close distance what gives them a advantage, but just like the champion, they don't have a good armor and will be killed fast if they are frozen or stunned. also close distance fight isn't a good choice if you're a mage, in the beginning you will just do 1 damage per hit.
